Just a South Georgia girl, Albany, to be exact. Intentionally living the one life I was given to the fullest. My purpose & passion reside in investing in, mentoring and empowering women of all walks of life. Motivational speaker, comedienne, self-published author, co-founder of Black Girls Save™️ and HR Professional are a few titles that encompass my being but the greatest title I hold will forever be “Mother”.
When did you fall in love with cigars?
Only about two years ago to be honest. I actually fell in love with the cigar scene way before I fell in love with the craft of actually smoking. I love the maturity, opportunity for connections, low light setting and the many relationships I’ve created in the cigar world living this leaf life with some amazing SOTL & BOTL. After years of frequenting the local lounges, I decided to actually smoke a stick two years ago and I’ve been in love ever since. I’ve enjoy finding the taste designated to my palate.
Where is your favorite place to smoke in Atlanta?
Acere Cigar Lounge is my all-time favorite because of its “friends & family” vibe. I truly consider everyone in their establishment my family. I also love Patio, Burn by Rocky Patel, Blended Ashes in Albany, GA and Highland Cigar to name a few.
When you are not enjoying a cigar, what do you like to do?
I spend all the time I can with my soon to be adult children, trying to savor every moment. I enjoy traveling, attending concerts/any live music events, and trying new restaurants (I love food!). You might also catch me on a stage doing stand-up.
What is 1 Atlanta must-see/must-go for out-of-town attendees?
I highly suggest anything on the Beltline. You can literally go there and hang from sun up to sun down. My favorite evening activity there is eating at Kevin Rathbun Steak followed by a walk to The James Room. The entire area is rich in history. Some Saturday mornings my daughter and I go down just to walk and sitesee.
