1. Tell Atlanta Cigar Week attendees a little about yourself

Hey guys I’m Déjà, lover of all things fabulous, especially a full-bodied cigar. I’m West Indian from South Florida by way of Jamaica—I now call Atlanta home. Cigars are my therapy and friend—I enjoy a stick to de-stress after a long day or week, on a nice sunny day on the patio or amongst other BOTL and SOTL in a social setting. With that being said, I look forward to meeting and mingling with you all at this year’s Atlanta Cigar Week!

2. When did you fall in love with cigars?

I fell in love with cigars over a decade ago, I was drawn by the allure it had. I’d buy a cigar whenever I saw one. However, I became a regular smoker once I moved to Atlanta and a cigar lounge was built in my neighborhood.

3. Where is your favorite place to smoke in Atlanta?

Remember that cigar spot in my neighborhood I just mentioned? Well, it’s

Cigar City Club, in Sandy Springs. It was my first cigar spot I visited in Atlanta back in 2015 it’s become my cheers spot. It’s classy, Black Owned, good food, good drinks with friendly staff. It’s the most comfortable vibe of any lounge that has emerged after it—its a spot I’d frequent often solo.

4. When you are not enjoying a cigar, what do you like to do?

I’m a student of life, I enjoy learning new skills—educational videos or reading about personal development. I am also a foodie, I enjoy cooking. I’m diverse and versatile in what I enjoy but those are my top two.

5. What is 1 Atlanta MUST-See/MUST-Go for out of town attendees?

One place you must visit is The BeltLine, it’s miles long of paved trails through commercial property, parks, and neighborhoods. You’ll see Atlantan’s having causal scrolls, exercising, walking their dogs, you’ll see art installations, sculptures, musicians playing, restaurants, and shops. You’re able to take a tour—but I’d recommend getting a map and venture out self-guided. Grab a bite at one of the many restaurants on the BeltLine or bar hop. The Beltline is unique and has my stamp of approval of must-go places in Atlanta.
